Well, I did the unthinkable . . .
I took the boys on my hike last Thursday!
Believe it or not, they did very well!
My group, " the Foxes," are the ones who deserve
a metal for their kindness and patience with us!
We did everything as usual....drove to Meyer Park,
took our backpacks with lots of snacks and water,
and set out to climb the mountain and see the wildflowers!

Kellen, (who is an accident waiting to happen!),
shows his war-wound....a skinned knee....
from slipping as we were going down the mountain!
(or maybe he was just playing around and fell down??)

Suzanne ended the day with us at a place called, "Tiny Town".....
where we found a train to ride!
All in all, we hiked about 2+ hours (which was over
2 miles UPHILL!).
THEY ALL DID GREAT!
----even Presley----
(who ended the walk by saying, "I can't walk anymore!")
...and that's alot of walking for a 3 year old!!
